boring price???/

Well if your talking the 240 kit it is just bolt on.
It is cheaper to buy a piston kit and have a machine shop bore you cylinder out.

You are talking around $200 to get a good piston kit, gaskets and a bore job. It really should be a little less then that so yes it will be cheaper to get it bored. BUT if you want to spend $500 you can.

I think you're a little confused. Boring your cylinder .40 over and a big bore 240 are very different. Boring .40 over will make the bore 1mm over, for a total of 67mm. A big bore 240 is 72mm. Boring is not a performance upgrade, it's a repair.

i paid 205 for a weisco .80 piston/top end it and for the shop to match the piston to the cylinder so ya n i kinda paid a lil high

ooooo well is there a cheaper way to get a 240 big bore then the vitos??

Yeah buy the one I have in the for sale adds.. LOL... you can find used ones for sale on ebay and other places if you look around. BUT to get the best performance out of a 240 you will have to get it ported. A stock cylender with a good port job and the right reeds and carb and pipe will beat an UNported 240 kit. So if you are looking for a big performance upgrade and don't want to spend the money on a 240 kit then just send your stock cylender off and have it ported by someone who knows what they are doing. There are a few on the site that can do that for you. I know Flowtech is around $150 plus shipping cost. Hope this helps.
