Bore stock cylinder to 240? Or buy a 240 sleeve off ebay?

I run 4 of those ricky stator timing plates and no issues what so ever in 6 years. A cast timing plate is a cast timing plate. Ricky stator may have a bad name. I did not reccomend their stator. However I don't think any blaster owners have had any issues. Just the cheap chinese knock off junk, caltric etc Ricky stator has a horrible banshee reputation.

I agree a timing plate is a timing plate. I have never had a Ricky stator, but I have dealt with 3 RM STATORS. 1 on my banshee (Sucked) and one on Woodrow Wilson's bike (weak spark out of the box). We threw the 3rd one in the trash without even trying it. Looking back, you have to understand you get what you pay for. An adjustable timing plate and new stator for $40 shipped should have been the tell tale sign!
