I have a 2001 blaster that needs a new top end and i figured while i was at it i want to bore and stroke it.Im going 60 over and 3mm stroker crank, is there anything i have to do to the tranny to make it hold up to the new engine?

The tranny will hold up just fine, the clutch will hold up just fine IF you use the CORRECT!!! oil.
I put in the 10% stiffer springs on my clutch (STOCK OEM) when I stroked it, and with the 6.5mm (.256") over bore (for 248 cc's) I've had NO problems, and I'm one of those guys that doesn't use the clutch either.

i have a 4mm i've now broken 2 trans in the past month. i was told that the weak point is the gear on the back of the clutch basket but i seem to just like to break teeth off the trans gears. i lost 4th on my first trans and the last one i didn't take apart yet but i could visibly see the inner clutch basket had deflection when spinning b/c the main shaft was bent so far out didn't put a dial indicator on it yet but i'd say 1/8th inch off. i had the same trans for 6 years before i put the stroker together so there is only so much power you can push out of a blaster. but if you will enjoy the speed i can keep up w/ 450's on the track.

im going +3mm really dont want to trench the case makes it weak.I already have wiseco clutch basket so that should work then. Also iv been useing Bel-ray gear saver 80w in the crank case,is there anything else that is better or should that be alright?

BTW looking for exhaust kit getting sick of the sh*tty fmf
