So i wanted to take of my back wheels and as i got to the last nu, it stripped totally! tried everything but i cannot seem to get it off? how do i deal with this??

umm you have vise grips? try using those to get some grip.
they also make a special socket that can maybe work, i cant remmeber the name but i will look for it later.
also did you strip it or was it already stripped?

Ya i seen them too, dont know what its called its like a socket with lots of little teeth in it. After fighting with the oil plug for hours my buddy let me use one and it pulled it right off. i know craftsman makes the sockets just dunno what their called.

it was pretty rusty but i think i stripped the bolt! Last one i tried to loosen! but thanks will look for the tool with the teeth!

umm, try using pb blaster of wd40 or something to help make any bolts and nuts come off easier in the future. pb blaster works great on rusty things, wd40 helps out some, but isn't as good as PB blaster.

try hammering a socket one size smaller on and see if it will grab it. my uncle gets me this stuff from his work called 5in1. its like a super strong wd40. anybody else know of this or is it a special order thing. its awesome tho.

couple things. wd-40 isn't the same as pb blaster. wd-40 is a silicone based water displacer, which does exactly as it sounds, though itsome greasing power, not correcting, just informing, and i have experience with the mastercraft set and it works great. the main lesson i have learned is always remove wheel nuts with an impact wrench, i have been in the sam situation as u.

another solution is to weld an old socket to the nut then loosen it.

good luck

use coca cola , its corrosive as hell and I still can't believe I drink it , but Give it a try , it will bust loose the toughest of fasteners .....

I just had the same problem with a jug bolt the previous owner had it completely stripped and extremely tight, vice grips didnt work so I tack welded another nut onto the striped one and it worked great.
Good luck
