I just bought a 2005 blaster and after a full day of riding with no issues it died in the middle of my ride home, I down shifted before a turn and when I up shifted after the turn it bogged down and completely died. I checked for spark, which I have. Rebuilt the carb and made sure I'm getting fuel but still can't get it to start on good compression.. Any information will be much appreciated since I'm new to working on quads

My blaster just bogged down and died after a full day of riding with no issues.. I changed the plug and rebuilt the carburetor and still can't get it to start, it backfires so I kno it's gett fuel n spark but why it won't start is beyond me since I'm relatively new to working on quads.. Any ideas?

sometimes it takes time for people to respond lol
2 threads is no good it will get confusing..
is it floooding?
what is airscrew setting on carb?
lid on or off air cleaner assembly?
kill switch might be messing up
is the tors still connected on your quad?
is the oil pump still connected on your quad?
is the parking break on?
does your clutch lever look like this?

I took the carb apart and it was fine so I put it back on and threw in a new spark plug and it won't start, the air filter looks fine, it's fairl new. It's gett both gas and spark but it refuses to start up. It only back fires when I give it gas

no no no

i asked you in your other thread if oil injection was still on there but you did not answer.
if the oil injection is still pumping 2 stroke oil to the carb then you fill the container under seat with 2 stroke oil suitable for injection...like yamalube 2s

the transmission/gear oil cap that is by the kickstarter takes 10w30 oil that is suitable research that :)

Yea that's exa what I did.. It's got oil, gas, spark and a freshly rebuilt carb and I still can't get it to start

How are your reeds? Whats compression at?
Like I said I'm fairly new to working on bikes so bare with me lol my next step is to check the reeds so i will know how they look tomorrow and it has compression but how much I do not know, it feels like it lost some since this happened.. If yu don't kn the story basically after a fully day of riding I was coming around a corner and when I up shifted out of the turn it just bogged down n died

looks like the tors system is still on there.
in a perfect world it should still start but
it is not so perfect all the time:)

You may have flooded the crankcase from kicking and kicking.

Does fuel run out of the carb?
I just completely took apart, cleaned and reassembled the carb so it only has what it needs in there.. The last things I bel I have left to check are my reeds and if they're fine then I'm going to take off the head and check my piston and rings cause I'm almost positive it's not an electrical issue..
