I let my Blaster year model 2000 sit for a year, but had Stabil in the fuel and now the Cycle will not crank. The spark plug is a light brown/ black color but the ATV will not turn over after kicking on it 15-20 minutes. Do you guys think it might possibly be the carburetor stopped up? I am going to buy a New Plug tomorrow and try it before I pull the carburetor. Any recommendations would be grateful I am at my last straw on it. Thank you,

First see if you have spark. If you have spark, check for fuel. Also check air filter and air box for mice nest. Check exhaust pipe and silencer for same. Check that the key and run switch is on. Check that fuel is on.

Thanks for your reply the light (Oil) was faintly lit while kicking the cycle. Also air filter was clean and added some fresh gas to cycle as well. I did make sure both switches were in the On Position and gas was turned on. Also I choked it fully and it would never turn over.:( The cycle is stock with maybe 12-15 hours on in it a 2000 Blaster. I keep it in garage and it hadn't been run in a year or so give or take. :( Thanks for your time and reply.

Drain all the gas. Pull the carb and clean completely. Possibly pull the petcock out of the tank and clean it as well. Put it all back together and it should start right up as long as you do have spark.

todays fuel all has ethanol and alcohol attracts water which in turn ruins fuel I worked at a small engine shop for awhile and we saw a lot of issues caused by ethanol
