I have a big problem with my blaster and I dont know what to do....
it has good compression, I just cleaned the carb, it starts easy and idles good, revs up smooth and great.... but when I go to ride it after a few minutes of riding it turns itself off... I dont know what is could be or where to start....
HELP

turns off like someone hit the kill switch....
I thought is was the TORS so I spliced the throttle cables together, unhooked the brake and carb cables but still no luck

did you run out of gas?
maybe the plug wire comes off? gets loose?
maybe a loose wire somewhere?

check your ground wires and all your electrical connections. check the wires pulgged into the coil and your spark plug wire also.

i'm leaning towards plug wire/boot also, it's most effected by the heat

I'm going to check tonight for something obvious near the spark plug boot and where the wires are, but I am afraid I wont know what to look for....

completely remove all the tors sh*t, and the wires DO NOT get connected togather, they just get all cut and taped off, not touching each other, at the throttle, carb and unplug the brain (under the hood near the cdi, if its an 88-02, 03+ are built into the cdi, just cut out/disconnect all the wires associated with the tors)

It almost Sounds like you might have a short in the coil. When it's sitting still the wires are touching but when you get moving and vibrations occur it could make the wires move apart. If that's not the problem check your gas sh*t off and make sure it's completely open and getting enough gas through.
