blaster spark doesnt run

i let my brother ride my blaster and some how the key switch wires got broke, thats no big problem, but now the blaster wont even start, spark plug has spark and is getting gas but it wont even hit, any ideas of whats wrong with it?

My blaster has the key assembly removed....its just the two wires left by the head light....As long as they are NOT connected it should run...Im not sure what else would cause you not to run

The wires might be grounding where they ripped. I would unplug the whole key unit from the connectors just under that plastic piece. What color is the spark? it should be blue or white. If its orange it is a weak spark.

maybe check to see if one of your reeds ended up breaking somehow i know you said the key switch but its something else to check

yea check your flywheel..if it has spark it may just be out of time. i would defiantly check the flywheel. i have had 2 keys brake on me.

well its getting gas and spark so id say the key broke, anyone know where i can get a stock one fairly cheap online or from someone on here?

i only fount the vitos +4 and i dont want that, i want stock.

turns out the key did break, so what all do i need to do a compression test?

just so you know- the two are unrelated.

you should be able to find the flywheel key at a hardware store or a lawnmower repair shop.

for a compression tester, go to an auto parts store. like $30.
