Blaster running better with stock pipe?

I've sold my fmf to 4cfed, and put a uni on rather than my kandn. It seems to kick wayyy more ass now. Wtf?

i noticed that with my stock pipe.. it had mucho low end, and with the fmf off my wifes blaster i lost some low end and picked up a hoot ton of mid range.... i have a stock pipe on hers tell your pipe gets here, and hers 'feels' just as fast as mine with simmaler mods

in that dyno chart, the stock pipe gives a little more oomph in the lower rpms where the others lack, but then the other pipes blow the stock one away once u hit mid-range/topend.

Yeah you guys are definetly right... I noticed that. The powerband was hitting soo hard today.

its funny cuz with the stock pipe i can barely wheelie cuz it revs out wayyy too quick.

yeah most all stock pipes have more lowend punch than the aftermarket o n a stoc k bike

cause low end often likes backpressure

maybe just the pipes low end power or that the jetting was off and its jetted more towards the stock pipe than your fmf.
