blaster reed valve?

Can anyone tell me when replacing the reed valve can i just get the reeds or do it have to get the entire cage? And if so were can i find them. Iv looked on several sites and cant find any ( just the reeds)

You can replace just the reeds. If the cage is damaged then you'll want to replace that. Look on ebay. Type in yamaha blaster reeds. It will pull up ton of options. I'm running the Boyseen pro series reeds.

I just picked up stock reeds from the dealer for $20

The boyesen power reeds are a good improvement over stock, without having to change the reed cage. Or you can upgrade to the vf4's and cage which everybody really likes around here. Use the stock metal stopper plate, not the small metal strips they send with em
