Blaster over revs badly while driving but basically no power

I recently just got a 96 blaster that is 100% bone stock nothing done to it. I went out on it yesterday and the powerband should kick in the bike over revs and feels like theres no power. Ive cleaned the carb and removed the tors system

Have you ever done a leak test?

No i have not. What does a leak down test do exactly

did you screw cap on tight on top of carb,check it.

I was also wondering if the silencer could have a hand in this problem as it has little to no packing

If there is an air leak you will loose power and fry the piston!

I would bet clutch. Although everybody else ^^^^had good ideas as well. Should be a good starting point.

Where do i start with the clutch?

Could be a worn or maladjusted clutch, or the wrong oil in the transmission.

Is there any play in the clutch cable?

if it was mine i would try to loosen clutch cable,drain oil,put fresh oil 650ml no more no less,repack silencer then go from there total of like $10 bucks

If the oil in the transmission is old could it cause a problem like this

Clutch cable it loose. Thinking the old is old since the gas is also old

Old oil would have the tendency to drag, not slip.

There is quite a bit of play in the cable
