wat do you guys think is better Banshee or Blaster i mean with performance, reliablity, speed everything considered which is the best?

it really depends what your going to use the quad for. If you wanna run from the cops or roost the hell out of your ex-girlfriends yard, then the banshee would be the choice. If you want something thats nimble and you can throw around, then the blaster would be the choice

definitely the banshee.
the blaster was named the banshee's little brother, the banshee was built to higher standards and there is no arguing with that.
they were the longest production quad ever, and every part to every banshee year is the exact same
you can spend thousands to make a blaster fast, or you could buy a banshee.
blaster makes 12hp at the rear wheel
banshee makes 40

yea so countin up the performance of each one the reliability, wear of parts strength of parts cost of parts everything you can think of which do you think is the overall best?????
i know i already sed most of this!

well both motors are 2 strokes, meaning they are both very reliable.
i would have to say that the banshee would be more reliable, with much more power than the blaster, you are going to be pushing the banshee much less hard to get it places. so it wont be constantly screaming its brains out like the blaster would be. however simple things such as top end changes will cost more, because you have 2 pistons and rings instead of one.
but its worth it, its only
100 extra over the blaster top end.

definitely the banshee.

Um, you really need to do some research. Every part of every year banshee is NOT the same. '87-'89 used a j-arm front set up while '90-present went with the standard a-arm front end. The bolt pattern for the rear rims was also dfferent. The banshee also doesn't make 40 hp stock. As far as being built to higher standards, thats a load of crap.

um, im going to excuse you for saying that since you have obviously never worked on them, the j-arm and a-arm are an exact match-up, you can bolt them both on to the same piece with no conversion. as far as the bolt pattern, idk about that.
bullshit if it wasnt built to higher standards, the banshee was a full out race quad, the blaster was a 12hp toy.
my 330cc four stroke lawnmowers have 12hp for f*cks sake

why are you even on this site tjscott?????
all your doing is bashing the blaster...in EVERY SINGLE THREAD!!!!!!

no offense but only a newbie would ask this question...i love the blaster but the banshee kills in every categorie...exept versatility

Ok, the banshee is better. But some of you people are retarded. mainly that tj guy. You said because it is a 2-stroke it is more reliable, i am pretty sure it is they are not as reliable. Also you said the banshee is a full out racer, this is again wrong, the banshee is a full out drag quad. The banshee's suspension sucks ass and one the best upgrade you can do to a shee is the suspension. Also the banshee did not make 40whp, it only makes 35hp. That is 35hp at the crank and not 40hp at the wheels.
Also to the fergie, are you sayin that the blaster is harder to work on or the blaster? If so, they are actually the same to work on, both are very easy to work on and the carbs are similar design. Also the banshee has a unique look, and personally I think it looks way better than a blaster.
Also, the banshee is not all the big and bulky, it is that the blaster is just that f*ckin small. The blaster was made for small kids where the shee was made for bigger adults.
As far as trail riding, I would pick a correctly modified shee or a blaster anyday. The blasters wheelbase is just to short for any hill climbing and it is too narrow for fast trail riding.
Finally, you can't compare the two quads as they are not even in the same class. The blaster is a beginner quad where the shee is for someone who knows what they are doing. One is air-cooled (which sucks) and the other is liquid cooled.

if you know how to ride a blsty is fine but i like the way a banshee looks... i still think a blasters easier to work on though cause the banshee carbs have to be synched end of story..
