Ok I'm back again.. My blaster runs good but its flat kind of on the top end, it didn't use to be like this before I instead a proccircuit header with stock silencer, removed air box lid and rejetted the main jet with a280. The plug looks good so I'm not sure what else it could be. I messed with the air mixture screw and didn't really help. It ran great with the stock pipe and stock jetting . What could be causing it to sputter on top end and not want to pull strong?

Could the pilot jet be causing it?

Pilot jet is only for idle!
Set the float level, adjust the idle as per specs, #290 main jet, needle in middle slot, and plug chop.
The stock silencer may be upsetting the jetting due to back pressure caused by the baffles.
Take it for a run and pull the choke out if it gets better, it isn too lean, worse and it is too rich.

have you tried putting everything back the way it was/to check?
compression test/leak test.
more then likely,if it ran good before you touched it,then its summin with carb.
put everything back on carb?....main jet washer?
what spark plug are you running?
do you have a can of carb cleaner?
i forget at the moment all the threads you put up with issues lol.
are all the carb parts in there

I went through and cleaned the carb and made sure everything was there and It was good so trief it again and no change. So i put the stock headet back on and it runs how it should.have you tried putting everything back the way it was/to check?

Ok so now Its back to being real flat on the top end again.. it ran good for a while yesterday now its back. Its like it will pull good through thr first 3 gears then after that its just flat and doesnt want to pull.is it a used pipe?
