I just redid the clutch. Filed down the basket put a new clutch bearing in and everything. Finished it today and for some reason it won't go in gear. You can hear the little noise of you putting it into it but it rolls freely in every gear. I had it running and shifted it to every gear and it stayed in neutral. Any ideas would be great.

I think your problem is that the clutch is adjusted wrong.

Its probably going in gear, just the clutch isnt dis-engaging...

Wait for others to reply, but its probably the rod and ball. Did you put those back in????

It sounds like your clutch needs adjusting either in on the tie rod where the clutch cable attached too or the clutch side cover. You need to make sure you torqued everything to the right amount of lbs. Since you just re-did the clutch you must of did something wrong if you look in on the top of the forum there is a "search" category type in clutch adjustments you will find plenty of info! actually here you go http://www.blasterforum.com/engine-13/blaster-clutch-information-35192/

Hey man thanks for the info. Everything is correct on the lbs. I will pull the cover off and see if I can spot what's wrong.

When you take the cover off try engaging the clutch. When it is engaged the plates should have some movement in them. When the clutch lever is released the springs will expand pressing the pressure plate against the fiber and steel plates. There should be no movement in them when the clutch is not engaged.

did you align the 2 dots on the pressure plate and inner clutch basket ???

Lol everyone thinks that. I just haven't had the time to look into it so much. But I took it off and they are lined up.
