When I start the quad it sounds fine. Up to half throttle in first I have good power but after half throttle its weird..as I accelerate the engine continues to pick up rpms but I don't pick up speed or hit the power band. as this is my second blaster i know it should be easy to get the front end off the ground in gears one thru three. I've cleaned the air filter and carb and no change. I am running fmf power core with stock jetting. I did discover one of the reeds is chipped so i ordered new reed petals along with some bigger main jets to try out as well. Anyone have Any idea what the problem could be??

When you cleaned carb, did you make sure you could see through both jets, blow air through all passages, clean emullsion tube? Did you set float level?

Pipe should have markings on it.
Was this a sudden problem, or steadily getting worse?
Is the TORS deleted?

Is this a newly aquired unit?

Bike has ran this way since my friend bought it. Carb is good. Tors is still hooked up

What I meant was I cleaned the jets and everything and it still runs the same. If you think the carb is bad could itry one of the carbs from my banshee in it? Are they the same? I know those carbs are good and that would eliminate the carb as the problem if it still runs the same

does it rev fully sitting still in neutral?
or does it sound weak and lean,or hanging idle??
also if your clutch is already slipping/try to loose the cable on your clutch perch on handlebars and see if it gets any better if it does then your cable is too tight and you probably should replace clutch.
but your question is a bit of a huge puzzle:)

The idle is not crisp. It has rev on its own in neutral but not every time. I'm waiting on new reeds so I haven't been able to experiment yet

I ordered 260 abd 270 main jet and #35 pilot. Just pulled needle the clip was 2nd from top, I bumped the clip down one notch. What's ur opinion on this jetting with exhaust only mod?
