blaster no start please help

1998 blaster got new motor well used any who has good spark good compression I cleaned carb and check reeds but still not start plugs wet it will start with choke on couple times barely revs then dies it also starts to just sputter when kick it after few time and no start

Good spark do you mean a nice solid blue??

make sure u check your grounds , like jus me said if it isnt a deep blue its not strong.

Use this check list. Sounds like pilot jet is clogged.

- tors removed?
- carb completely disassembled, cleaned, and blown out?
- proper float height?
- new plug?
- Check compression with a guage?
- leak test motor?
- woodruff key in position?
- clean air filter?
- proper jetting?

We need some more info. Is it a stock carb?

Tors not removed but disconnected worked on my other motor 1 month ago and has 260 main jet fmf fatty pipe boysen reeds ported polished head I have checkd main jet and cleaned carb float seem to be at right hieght needle seating shut seems fuel issue to me I had air lid off I put that on and it started up had almost hold wide open though and wouldnt rev up

I had this problem when fixing my neighbors blaster. The air filter was dirty so it smoked a lt and wouldn't rev. Did you clean the pilot jet good? How did the float height "seem" right? You have to measure it.

Yea definitly didnt measure it maybe I should is there a spec ill take part try clean Again it smelt real rich when did get running

A worn or damaged fuel valve and seat will cause flooding, hard starting, and a rich fuel mixture..

You said 260 main with fmf pipe, lid off and ported???? That sounds like a problem to me!!!!!

You think a larger jet it seems it has to much fuel it get going but when does starts to hurt eyes In my.garage with door. Open

But ive now I got it running now I have switched carb with one with idle screw already installed i cleaned it and installed airlid it now sputters when rev it up like wont rev clean out . With air lid off wont start so confused and like I said it so rich hurts eyes in garage and hott quick

If you mean it is getting hotter than usual and more quickly I would suspect a too lean mixture.
