I bought a 74 dt175 recently and the motor was seized up. Long story short, I'd like to just buy a rebuilt/used blaster motor to swap out the original motor. Anybody have/know where to find one?
How much work do you plan on doing? The Blaster motor will take a lot of mods. I did my 78 DT175 and the cradle has to be lengthened widened and the down tube needs to be moved forward. After all the frame mods you'll need to figure out some sort of exhaust since the ports aren't in the same place and a Blaster pipe is nowhere close. If you'd like more real world info on this swap let me know.
