i swear down my blaster has mood swings some times it runs mint some times its not as good as it could be sometimes it fires up first time and brilliant some times it wont start at all haha i dont find it a problem i was just wondering if anyone elses blaster is "living" :P

Not mine. She knows that if she doesn't fire after 2-3 kicks, she goes under the knife! Lol. Seriously though, I have had good luck with both my Blastys as long as I keep the fuel fresh. I drain the carb bowl after every few rides and put 'em away dry. No problems thus far.

I don't know about in the UK, but over here in the States we have ethanol in most of our gasoline, which wreaks havoc on carburetors and makes some engines "moody". Its a never-ending battle. We need more mechanics in the government, I swear...

ethanol is used to increase octane readings. you will see ethanol amount in gas increase in the winter time.
ethanol is also have less power capacity compared to petro.

when its moody......she just wants beat harder

usally with mine its just one thing after another top end goes, replaced, crank seals go,replaced, clutch basket breaks, replaced, clutch plates go, soon to be replaced, fly wheel strips, repaired, bolt breaks in the reed cage, ugh, crack appears in reed cage, UGH, wrist pin clips come out when breaking in my new topend, sent off then repaired, WHATS NEXT?
