So I rode my 2000 blaster today. It ran like a champ but then I noticed I slowed down and I grabbed the clutch and it seemed to want to die. Well it did die and now it won't start up. For some reason the kick start seems to be loose as in way to easy to kick start. Well needless to say I had to push it home. As I was trying to kick start it it sounded like the muffler spewed if that makes any sense. Is there any advice on this or should I just take it in for service.?

need more info
what have you tried to fix it?
new plug
check reeds
cleaned carb/air filter
has enough gas....list goes on
spill it lol

And if the compression is low, leak test to find out where the air leak is that killed it!

If it passes the leak test, list all your mods and carby jetting?

It's just a stock blaster nothing done to it. Like I said ran like a champ always fired up on the first kick no problem. I let it sit over night and the pedal feels like it has a little more compression. But not much. Not really into checking the compression myself just gonna take it in. If it is low compression what would be an average price I can expect to pay

It depends on what damage if any has occurred, wether the piston is still intact, has not shed Aluminium which could have entered the crankcase and if the cylinder is not badly damaged.

Ask the shop to leak test before pulling it apart.
