Blaster Jumping out of gear

I just bought a blaster and it will not stay in gear it will go through all the gears but jumps out of mostly 2nd and will not stop in 1st you can just keep pressing down on the shifter if any one could tell me what it might be that would be great lol

do you use the clutch when you shift??
mine jumps outta 2nd to neutral if i dont use the clutch from 1st to 2nd

Yeah i use the clutch but it jumps when i let the clutch out it will got about a foot or two and jump out then will not go to third you have to start from first again and also it will not catch in 1st it just feels like it is slipping in the motor?

try changing your tranny oil...

yeh tranny oil.. ive also heard the clutch plates/springs could also cause this

your key on the shift star could be out of place, thats the first thing i would check.

ok I will try and change the gear oil just wondering is there any special type of oil that i should use or would 5w30 motor oil work also will check the key thanks

Get some motorcycle gear oil. It has to be compatible with wet clutches. Alot of people here use bel-ray gear oil.

well my local shop told me that the gears in the trans are rounded off and will not fully engage but thanks for the oil post rep added
