i was realy looking forward to getting a box in the post from project blaster with new custom fenders in. they tried to send them but usps wouldnt let them as it was too large. i was gutted, but they are sending me the rest of the bits, so i bought stock ones from a place in the uk.
im not that bothered anymore as actualy seeing my bike with the stockers on looks realy good.
this week ive reached a milestone in the build, ive been tripping over blaster parts for months and now they are finally coming together.
i received the seat cover, took one look and phoned the upholsterers to fit it, when i got there the guy said he was sure it was the wrong cover as it was so tight, he is going to try and fit it anyway so fingers crossed.
to put it this way im just waiting for my project blaster order and my seat to be covered the rest of the stuff to do is up to me and all the parts are in the garage waiting to be fitted, its a great feeling.
i dont know why we choose to build bikes or do these big projects, i suppose its like when an artist paints a picture or when a writer writes a book. but for me its not realy just all about the blaster ill have at the end of all this, its just as much about the journey ive had to get there.
here i am months into the build and im finaly able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but yet still im on blasterforum asking you guys questions about this and that.
like i said its about the journey, so thanks to all for their help so far it realy is much appreciated you guys have help me no end throughout this thing. its given me inspiration from all your sweet blasters, seeing them has made me not to sell the f*cker as "unfinished project in boxes"
its given me reason to be a supporting member, i would say its a good feeling to be part of this site, so to others, come on its like less than £8.00 PER YEAR, support it!
thanks guys better get on with the "to do list" lol.
