every time we ride and we go through a mud hole or water the blaster jsut dies out and have to wait either 5 10 min or pull start to get it start

stator side gasket is leaking .....you dont wanna get that wet shorts out everything and could blow your topend out>>>been there done that
Could also be a simple thing like a bad spark plug wire (worn or cut isolation) seen it happen on a friends quad

ok what about idles fine then when going into gear and trying to go it just falls on its nose and tries to die and i gotta keep clutch in to stay running
A bad spark plug boot end can manifest itself MANY ways. Hard starting, dying when wet, low end breaking up and upper end breaking up.
You need to do a little diagnostic and care here. First, rule out the obvious. Pull off your carburetor and clean it thoroughly. Pay special attention to the pilot jet and pilot circuit (the "off idle" problem possibly.
Second, download the service manual from the "general support" section of this forum (if you don't already have a service manual) and get a multimeter. Check out the electrical trouble shooting section and run through the resistance checks to make sure all of your electronics are working. Once you've confirmed you don't have a real problem, carefully pull the stator cover off and inspect down in there. As Evilelvis said, water can get in there and rust your flywheel/coils and wreak havoc.
I'm going to do a compression test on it to make sure it doesnt need top end rebuild, it ran fine and i just havent rode it for a while then i went to ride it and just felt like a sh*t would stay running or anything i replaced crankcase gasket new reeds (vitos carbon flex 2-stage reeds) ran fine like 20 min then just dogged liek crap gotta get this fix lol got a race coming up in a week
now my head light wont work lol just not going good for my blaster how i try to get this to work
if it dies when you go through water and your headlight quit working then i would almost bet on it being your stator side gasket and your stator is getting wet. i'd say it has fried your stator and it is no longer putting out enough power to power your headlight.
I am good at being hard headed ........go buy a spark plug and tell me what happens.....far as the headlight they are prone to blow and dont last very long get a new bulb
Lets test the easy stuff before we go buying expensive stuff lol. Yes it does seem that maybe your stater is bad from water becuase of it cutting out and now the head light being messed up. But that could just be bad luck lol. See if your getting power to your headlight? is the coil good is the plug good.
Also I had a set of those Vito reeds and The first time starting the blasty up with those the reed petal snapped off and the 4 wheeler would barley run and some times it wouldn't run at all.
actually found out that im not getting any spark i could place that plug on my tongue and not get shocked so going to try different coil hopefully it works also why low compressin would help if tightened the compression tester down hahah
