i just put my blaster back together with a new ignition coil air filter and i just cleaned out the carb needle and the rest of the carb i took it for a quick ride around the yard and now it dies when i give it to much throtle what could it be it is almost like the choke was on but it wasnt let me know what you think the its an 03 blaster and its been sitting for about 2 years

could be an air leak some where between the carb and the intake you can use an unlit propane tourch and hold it near the intake while idling if it kills it or changes how it runs you found a leak. it could also be something plugging one of you jets most likely your main jet or your needle jet its easy to get stuff stirred up when you clean your carb. did you happen to move the clip on the needle when you cleaned it?

did you remove air box lid? if so you need to rejet or replace lid , also float level will cause that . bike will not keep enough fuel in bowl just bend tab on float slightly up when carb is upsidedown and if you dont know what needle clip is dont worry about it , obviously you didnt move it
