well this is how the story goes.
after i got the cylinder back from ken i washed the cylinder out as instructed in his videos 3 times and after i installed it and put everything back together i ran it and it ran good.i did a compression test and it looked weak like 110psi.so i went and bought new rings and installed em yesterday and fixed 2 stripped head bolts.and learned the compression wasnt caused by wornout rings or the 2 striped bolts.it was my friggin press on compression tester,i rigged it up to an old spark plug so now it screws into the plug hole.the compression is 135psi like it always was but now i have zero spark.i need to know which wires are for the cdi so i can test it.

damn man that sucks.. are u sure its all put together correctly? 135lbs still seems low on a fresh rebuild. i just put my new head on and tested the compression while it was apart and got 165lbs with original rings.

sittin here at kens house right now, hahaha
but have a few minutes to respond before a day of riding !!!!!!!!

all that good info is in the electrical or troubleshooting section of the manual

available here.................

you have a modified head ands a 3 mil crank

yeah i think the compression tester has alot to do with the low compression.it isnt a proper tester
now i can relax without pulling my hair out and grinding my teeth lol

ran like shat last outing.had all 6 head stud holes on the jug strip on me.got em fixed but wont know how it runs till i get it out again.only takes one kick to fire it up cold.but that dont mean anything.
