I just put a new hotrod crank in my 96 blaster put everything back together went to kick it over and the crank Will not move. What is causing this

Yes it is a stock stroke crank I took the jug off along with the piston and it still won't turn over

either you put something together wrong on the clutchside or
flywheel is hitting stator...is my wild guess.
did you watch any videos to help you out on rebuild?

I'm gonna take a wild stab at it that when you put the crank bearings into the caese, you didn't get them seated all the way and when you bolted the cases together, the bearings were put in a bind. Should have been obvious that you had a problem when you first bolted the cases together and the crank wouldn't turn.

When the crank was in the case half was the crank moving freely ? As stated above were the bearings seated all of the way and correctly?

Before splitting the cases, make sure that the transmission is moving freely and if not than fix that problem first. If it does move freely and the crank does not than you may need to split the cases again..

OK I fixed the bearing prob, and now I put the new top end on and I'm running into the same problem anyone know this solution.

OK so I took off the head, and the piston is just above the hole for the exhaust and no matter what it will not move ( up or down).

depends what you want to take off next
cuz it has to come apart again
take things apart till you find the problem.
it is not easy to diagnose a locked up engine that was just disassembled

OK figured it out. I couldn't kickstart it because the spine for the Kickstart snapped. Also I found the motors not locked up I put a socket on the flywheel and itll turn over
