I seen a blaster that had a 400EX rear shock and YZF450 front shocks, it also had LSR a-arms. I was wondering if this conversion is common and if the a-arms are needed to add these shocks on a blaster. And if any 1 can tell me if there are cheaper ways to upgrade suspension without buying the expensive after market parts, thanks.

the yzf fronts u can buy extended a arms or diamond j widing kit and the 400 ex shock needs little mods to work go to the search bar and search and ull find everything
I am in the process of installing a 450EX shock. Making a couple of adapters for the new shock to fit into the existing bracket. Once I have done so, I will post pix along with a drawing. Apparently it is an easy way to significantly upgrade the rear suspension.
