Hello, i just installed a new push rod, ball bearing and smaller push rod in my quad because the two rods and ball welded themselves together. After replacing the clutch is still very hard to pull and adjusting the push rod does not help. The pressure plate does not even move. how do the friction plates, metal plates and "wave" ring go in? I want to double check. Also, where are the marks i have to line up on the clutch. Thank you.

Well, I am pretty sure the ring goes in ring has a cerntain plate it goes in with(one of the friction plates is a diffrence size, that is the one that the ring goes with, and I beilive it goes on for your second set. There is also a dot on the outer clutch plate that lines up with a dot on the clutch basket. Hope that helps

hey thanks bkg479 i found the two dots and lined it up. Great help, but i think ive found the problem. i pulled the The arm that the clutch cable attaches to and it had a chip in it which i believe wasnt allowing it to activate the push rod.
