This might be a dumb idea but would a banshee or warrior axle carrier bolt up to a blaster swingarm? I can get both carriers for $40 with good bearings.

They will not just bolt up.Some have added washers and or spacers but it never works right and causes too much slop and the chain loosening up.Your best bet is to get the banshee axle and a banshee or warrior brake hub.It will all swap right in and your existing rotor, sprocket hub, sprocket, axle nuts, will go right on the banshee axle.It will give you about 1 5/8 wider per side. You can retain your stock 88-02 mechanical brakes by adding some washers and or spacers on the caliper.Upgrading to hydraulic rear brakes is a good investment also.
Thanks I'm needin a carrier and sprocket hub for my 99 blaster and I couldn't find one. I found a banshee and warrior carrier axle and all for $40 each
