Well I picked up a blaster that stated it needed a top end. But it had a brand new vitos 3 mill crank in it.
Well the top was off it when I got there and some stuff is missing, of course.
So lets pretend I have a good top end and I need whatever gaskets for the 3 mill to work correctly. Does anyone know what I need to order?

Also he said he poured some motor oil in the crank to keep it from rusting. Now I dont think this was a good idea but figured I could clean it up with some solvent and lube it back up with some Klotz and be fine, But I would like some other thoughts plz.

are you sure its a 3mil or just a stock stroke vitos stuffer crank? there should have been a spacer plate unless the jug and head were setup to run without it. i have one if you need it pm me.

he had the cylinder off already. the base gaskets are tore. so I am guessing I need to sandwich the metal gasket between two others?

yes if your using the spacer plate u should use two gaskets with it. You can change the power output of the engine drastically but using a spacer plate on top of the cylinder instead of under as it comes. Using the original plate is prolly best it will give you more power but using one on top instead will tend to give you more torque low end "grunt" power prolly takin alittle hp. Im almost sure you can run the 3 mill with just gaskets but this is more extreme

sorry i completely read that wrong, the 3 mill comes with the base metal sheet and two base gaskets to sandwich. If your thinkin of using a spacer for the head to change the power a bit then youd have to somehow make a thicker head gasket or somethin. im building a motor now with a vitos 3mm stroker and think im just going to use the thickest base and head gaskets i can find and just not use the spacer.
