went outside today, after changing my front sprocket yesterday, and chain rode it and it rides tits. you know what im sayin? went outside, disconnected the brake line for the ebrake at the left grip, pulled all the line out of the bike. put the block off plate on and for some reason it wont kick over, and when it does, it has that low pitched gurgley noise when given throttle.. idles a little weak. but it rode fine yesterday?!?! SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!

edit...instead of hearing that sweet BRRRAANNNNG DADADDADAD, i hear BROWWWBROWWWWBROWWWWW

I can almost guarantee you did something with your parking brake sensor, which is causing it to bog down. When you get it to kick over, it idles fine right? But then when given throttle it bogs down, correct? What "line" did you pull out of the bike? Did you pull the actual sensor out? You can't just pull that out, I think you have to ground out the wire(s) in order for it run, or else it will do exactly what your describing.

really....? i just disconnected the brake line that ran from the clutch perch, to the rear hydro, and put the block off plate on. what else do i need todo?

On mine i disconnected at the handlebars underneath the front piece of plastic the (throttle sensor and EB sensor). Then i jumpered the wires at the tors on top of carb I:I

try to follow this a little, yours doesnt have the brain and just jumper it at the carb

Also a 350 main jet is too big unless your ridding in like 20 temp.Try a 320 or 310

hmmm, maybe I'm wrong. Did it come with instructions? LOL I would think it's definitly gotta be something with the sensor. If it ran fine yesterday, and all you've done since then is install the PB block off, it's gotta be that. Maybe try un-installing the kit, and putting the cable back on and see if it still does it? Or if possible, snap a pic of what line you took off so I can be sure we're talking about the same one. I'm not sure what's going on.

i hear that just unplugggint the tors doesnt do it. you have to unplugs the tors on tops of the carb, and then unplugs it from the brain, use the old clip to jump the wires to reconnect(jump) the circuit. im still confused about this TORS system. ive read, and read, and read, but every thread seems to have a different way of completing this. if anyone has a fool prrof way, lemme know so i can get rid of this problem. but i do think it could be a sensor, i never knew about any sensor. ive only had the quad about 5 months. just workin it as much as i can.

Just follow what i said, there is no brain in the 2003-2006 models there different.Just unplug the wires going to the throttle behind the front plastic on the front, you already said you took the em brake off. Then down at the carb you have too unplug the wire going to the carb cap. Then take a small wire or something and jump the two connections in there(wire you just unpluged at the carb top);)...

this is what im more concerned with, becase i saw no sensor. about to take it out and look at it again.

There is a switch on the parking brake mechanism on the perch for the clutch lever. When the parking brake is on, it effectively rev-limits the engine so that a dumb-ass can't ride around with the brake on. When you removed the parking brake cable, you took the tension off the parking brake switch, and it is now on. It thinks the parking brake is on. The switch is normally open, so if you disconnect the wires going to it, you can just leave them disconnected and it will run fine. There is connection under the hood, just follow the wires down from the lever and disconnect them.

thanks guys. tryin it now!

not sure 'bout the em brake deal, but there is a correct way to remove the tors, buy the removal kit, from vito's or i think rockymountainatv.com might have them by moose, or search ebay

i was trying to avoid having to do the tors removal without the kit. but it might have to happen. and the em brake dea. well. im going to go unplug it now, so we will see

LADIES AND GENTS!!! bike is runnin tits right now. i did look into the clutch/ em brake perch and saw the little silver metal sensor in it. i followed it down, and unplugged it under the hood and she is rippin down my street. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE WHO REPLIED WITH AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION TO HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM!!!

ands i STILL GOT THE TORS ON IT!

thanks bro. i know you were one of the first to help out. so crazy that somemthing like that would make the bike not run...f*ckin yammies. with their TORS and sh*t.
