i am lookin to get a bigger carb......if i go with the 28mm or 30mm would i have to get bigger pistons or engine mods.... also what brand carb would be better Mikuni or Keihin

nah you dont need a bigger piston, i wouldnt get a bigger carb if your all stock i would get a pipe some reeds then do the carb..

well i already have me some toomey pipes and boyesen reeds..... but what size would you go with

also was wondering what are the advantages of a bigger carb...... my dad said that a bigger carb can hurt your bike

Only if you don't have it tuned and jetted correctly. if you do, then it'll only help because it's capable of more air/fuel flow. it made a difference in mine when hill climbing and stuff

the biggest advantage would be more air and more fuel = more power. A bigger carb won't hurt anything as long as its jetted correctly
