I traded for a vito's kit but it didn't include a piston. It's on "stock" bore now but it needs overbore anyway so I need a 72.50mm piston

I know I can buy a cast 240 piston but I don't want to build a stroker big bore engine with a cast pistons. :-/

Does anyone have a 72.50mm forged piston around anymore?

Is wossner still manufacturing the pistons new?

I thought those pistons were on backorder and I know vito's is supposed to be getting forged big bore pistons in "eventually" but I don't feel like holding my breath until I turn blue.

Ken got back with me about it, wossner's all out :-( SUPPOSEDLY they will be making more in about a month but as Ken put it, "don't count on it".

It looks like, for the time being, Vito's cast pistons are the only way to go...

Just for giggles, I sent an email to vito's asking when they were going to get the forged BBK pistons back. Perhaps they're on the edge of ordering more from wiseco, just waiting until there is enough interest and a few emails is all it would take for them to go ahead and pull the trigger...

I knew it wouldn't be long before I seen one of these posts looking for a forged bb piston. It's going to be hard to find one right now.Good luck on the search bro.

i as well sent a message to vitos in hopes we can put a fire in there ass to get us some forged pistons for the kit. seems kind of rediculous we can spend money on a bbk and now cant even find a decent forged piston for it.

Will they do oversized pistons mixed in with "stock" bore size too? Are you figuring like a few of each of the three sizes or ten of each size?

The "stock" bore on this top end is wore out. I need a .5mm oversize but I'm definitely in for one piston (maybe a final bore piston 73mm too if you NEED the purchases to get them made)
