I bought my first blaster a few weeks ago. Came with a .40 over vito's piston, fmf chamber ,stock silencer. I've drilled 8 1" holes in the airbox cover,Waiting on a k&n filter. I have the carb jetting fixed now (run like crap when i got it) What can be done for Low to midrange power? don't need a screamin' topend where we ride.

lol that puppy in your avatar looks so sad! for low end power a 12 tooth front sprocket would be the biggest gain for cheap, keep in mind that you will top at around 45mph with it though.. :o. a unported RAD valve is a big low end gain also.

I've got a 44 tooth rear sprocket to install. top speed not a big problem, rarely get into 4th gear. What is a RAD valve? It's still running the stock reeds.

for better low end power:
more compression (designed head)
advance the timing
rad valve
trail port

i just want to say something, you really dont what low end power, you want a strong mid range. who really rides their quad in the low rpms all the time? mostly you are around 4-6K rpm.

I bought the quad for my 13 year old son for christmas(he doesn't know about it yet) .he's had 3wheelers for years,I'm trying to get it settup for him before he gets it. My wife and I have sportbikes,Idon't know much about this thing yet.
