Best aftermarket pipe FMF or Pro Circuit

fmfs are ok for mostly stock blasters and toomeys are great for them... pro circuts can support a lil more modding. If you had a good number of mods, you would want something like a dynoport, lrd, f7, ct, trinty, vito's fat bastard, shearer. you could still use these pipes for a stock motor but you would not get the most out of them.

I have an FMF fatty and turbine core. The only thing im able to compare it to is the stock exhaust. The FMF is probably 5lbs less in weight, you can clearly feel a difference in throttle response. I absolutely love the sound of my turbine core compared to other silencers, it defiantly has a different sound. But to each his own. I have done a lot of research and there are better pipe/silencers out there but this one fits my needs. I have very few performance parts because i want to keep my quad as reliable as possible and from my experiences FMF has been reputable in quality parts. Also i ride mostly legal trails and I wanted to keep my quad as legal as possible; and the turbine core is a U.S. Forest legal spark arrestor. So in essence you need to think about what you want out of your exhaust system. Ask yourself these questions; What type of riding do i do? Where do I ride? What performance upgrades do i want now? What performance upgrades do i want later? How loud do i want it? There is no right or wrong exhaust, just what suits you the most.

wow, now thats a good answerI:I

I ran the toomey on my slightly modded blaster (28mm carb, p&p, boyeson reeds) and it was nice. Lots of power and probably the best sound ive ever heard. There good pipes.

i have a procircuit head pipe with FMF silencer and the sound quality is good and gives good power..its reall good for a stock engine and remeber u have to jet ur carb for pipes too...MY PIPE IS FORSALE

i wouldnt worry about modding hurting reliability with these things with the exception of boring. with all my mods i've never been stranded. can't say the same for my friends yfz450 or warrior. and i run circles around that warrior and keep up with the yfz no prob

To me? Neither Pro Circuit or FMF. I like the Cpi, Lrd, and Toomey. I never got a chance to use the Cpi or Lrd. I have the Toomey on my blaster. According to people that should know what their talking about, they say Toomey falls off some when the motor is mild to heavily built. Whereas the Cpi and Lrd dont. If the Toomey does fall off, I couldn't tell it. I'll put it this way... In the three years I raced in Youth Production and various other classes in the southeast, I never found a blaster that had a stronger motor than mine. Was it all because of the pipe? No. The combination? Yes. You do what you want, because that's what your going to do anyways. I'm just letting you know there are better pipes out there. If you do decide to get any of the three I listed, the Toomey and Lrd are almost identical on the dyno sheet for stock to mildly built motors with the same setup. It all comes down to personal preference...

I was thinking about goin with a pro circuit pipe with a fmf silencer but I want to upgrade to a fully bulit 240 and I dont buy a pipe that good for my mostly stock motor know and then have to waste more money on a other pipe

ya i agree, just look for a system that suits your needs, i have a buddy with a stock blasty with just a fmf system and it works and sounds great. i personally run a toomy b1 pipe and i love the power and sound. it responds good to mods and stuff too, but i guess if your runnin a stock motor and want some more power and cool sound, the FMF is good for the money, no sense in spending a bunch on a toomy or shearer or lrd if your runnin a stock motor, and later, if you do some more mods, you can always upgrade to somthing that better coordinates with your mods. a good exhaust system is one of the good core mods that is fairly cheap, fun to DIY, and great rewards...good luck

procir cuits are clearly better..i have one forsale...im not just saying there better cause i want u to buy miney but from what people on here have told me and from what i have learned pro circuits are better than FMF
