With my current mods (listed below) would the 4 degree timing mod from vitos benefit me?

FMF fatty gold series pipe
FMF power core 2 sst siliencer
Boysen power reeds
rebuilt and jetted carb (stock carb)
Reed spacer
13T front sprocket
.030 Piston on a new rebuild

No one has any opinions or advice on this mods worthwhile?

Also where can i get the peice at?Vitos doesnt show it they just show the plates and id rather not do the more expensive plate if i can get the same results from a much cheaper peice.

Anyone have one for sale?Have these things been discontinued.

You will get some more bottom end and a little better pull through the RPM range. If you are ok running premium gas, I would do it. You dont need a piece of anything. Just a $10 flywheel puller and a 3/8 air impact gun to put the nut back on after you mod the stator plate.
If you want, I can e-mail you instructions another member gave me. It's easy. Or search for his thread.

I used the adjustable timing plate to make mine +4 degrees. I run mid grade gas (what we have on the farm) and it runs great. Noticeable difference and I have similar mods to yours.

IMO it's a good mod for a trail/woods Blasty.
I modified my 175 dirtbike's stator plate for a +4 advance.
It pulls noticeably harder off the bottom.
I also noticed it drop off at the top of the revs but that's OK for a woods bike, it was worth it.

you can buy a ricky stator adjustable plate also. their stators are junk, but you can use the plates...that is if you dont like the idea of moddin teh stock one..its easy tho. +4 with those mods is probly good. would work good for mx too jeremy....

remember, mx quads need low and mid range power. anything you can do to make power off the bottom and in the mid....do
