hey i have got my bearing carrier apart (putting new seals and bearings) and it is all rusted in the inside. how would i get at least some of the rust out? thanks

While you have it apart put a grease zerk in it. You can either remove inner seal from bearing or at least pack brg and put seal back. Put anti-seize or at least grease on axle where sleeve and hubs go.

yea larry i am but were do i put in the fitting cuz im just goin to do it myself my uncle has grease fitting and taps. soo im goin to do it myself. but were do i put it at.

You could put the zerk fitting in the middle of the carrier, near the top, sorta pointing towards the grab bar so it is easy to get a grease gun on it. I think a wire brush like dakotademon7 said is about the only way to clean out the inside. If you have a small wire cup for the end of a drill you could get to some of it on each end.
