Kawasaki Bayou 300's use Keihin CVK32 carburetors which are vacuum venturi models.  They're designed to dampen out the individual intake strokes of a 4 stroke engine.  
I'm not going to say that a CVK32 can't be used on a blaster but it's not optimal.  
Also, kawasaki CVK32's are known for having non replaceable float needle seat.  They're known for having trouble with a "dribbling" carburetor due to seeping around the needle.
