Yup it works but one should test from the inlet side not exhaust side, unless the reeds are faulty the boot gasket area and boot will not be tested for leaks.

the link provided above shows, and describes how to use the tester in the intake ????

although the principles are the same, i see mention of drilling, tapping, epoxy glue, cutting out block off plates, ect

there has to be a simpler design

I figured the break down explanation is what people want. The way it comes about as far as tools go, people can make whatever suits their needs.
