So I've upgraded the whole front end of my banshee this winter to a yfz front end. I've got a whole front end off my banshee now and was thinking of putting it on my kids blaster along with a banshee axle and hubs so we can all use the same rims and tires. I'm curious if anybody on here has swapped over the front breaks, shocks, hubs, rotors, axles, etc... Looking for some feedback on how it worked. My thinking was it should make for a much better quality of ride and a lot better braking in the front. I'll probably be looking for some +2 or +3 a-arms that work with the banshee shocks also. Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks, Clayton

I run norman420 spindles on one of my bikes and they are worth their weight and gold.Great product and a bolt in deal. You also need to figure out if you are going to get extended a-arms or not.I run burgard a-arms on another bike and they use the shee spindles. The burgards and a few oher companies do not use the pinch bolt style that the stock blasters use, they use the tapered style.Other manufacturers use the stock pinch bolt style and in that case you need either 03-06 spindles or norman420 spindles in order for it to be a bolt in deal. All the shee front brake parts will bolt right up with either of those setups. As for the shee axle,it is a direct bolt on for the 03-06 blasters meaning swap axle only and go.It is a direct bolt in for the 88-02 also you just need a shee,warrior,03-06 blaster, brake hub.All other parts will interchange. If you have an 88-02 the stock caliper needs some slight modding for it to work.P.M. me for that info if you go that route.Hope this helps.

so im right in thinking the blaster rear hubs will work with the banshee axle? (same spline diameter) i want to swap to a shee axle but have douglas rear rims i still want to use.
the axle ive seen is a 2002 and my blaster is a 2000, it comes with the brake hub but no caliper.

It will all swap right in.Shee and blaster hubs are interchangeable. If you swap to shee hubs you can get a larger rim.But in your instance just get a shee axle and brake hub and you are good to go.

How much do the norman420 spindles cost? I spent some time looking at extended a-arms and just about &%&^ myself. Couldn't believe how much they cost. Why are blaster a-arms more than the banshee a-arms?

You would have to double check with norman420 but I believe $125 for the spindles and $15 for the ride so $140 total.I also believe if you ship your stock ones you take off back to him he will refund $30 to you.Blaster a-arms don't cost that much for standard travel. You can get a new set all day long for $425.If you keep an eye out and be patient you will find deals on ebay all the time for alot less.
