banshee shoc

It's about a 4" lowering kit for a blaster if it will fit on it at all.

If you want to upgrade the rear shock get a 400EX, 450R, Z400 showa shock. They have compression and rebound control, threaded spring preload, and they're rebuildable.

I think its a 86 or newer that fits blasters. IMO I'd get a 400ex or 450r shock instead, they are alot newer and can be had cheaper than 250r shocks usually.

Is a rear warrior shock better than the blaster rear shock or is it way to stiff??

dude, quit graspin for straws and just buy one of the shocks mentioned, they are proven to work,
whats with all this re-inventing the wheel BS.

i will say the banshee rear shock is a nice shock. is a piggy back, has compression and rebound adjustment, screw style preload. but it is way to short for a blaster.

he's not reinventing the wheel, he's reinventing every atv shock that might fit on a blaster, one at a time.....hahahaha, dude there's a sticky about what shocks fit and what one's don't, i'm sure if there was a magic 80's shock out there someone on here would let us know, it's good to be inquisitive though, but i'd do as recomended, i've ridden a 400ex shock and it's a big improvement, but that depends on how big you are and how you ride too i guess

if you put a bolt through both mounting points, you get eye to eye measurement from i believe center of the bolt to center of the other bolt

okay thanks, cause like i just baught another atc 250r shock, but the guy this time said it measured, 15 1/2 eye to eye. Now whats a blasters eye to eye?

go measure yours, i think 14 1/2 ???? or is that fronts ????
i dont need to know these things, cause i buy and use whats been proven to work
that one will work, but the trx250r made my sons sit too high,
i moved the shock mount, now it's like riding a cloud

ok, the total shock tength of a rear blaster shock is 16 3/4 so i would say take an inch or so off so it would measure eye to eye? but i know u buy the stuff that works, but i bought each shock for $25 so i got a steal

no, but as does the 400ex, and 450r, it requires you to make bushings for the top mount, or buy ken oconnors bushings, plus drill the bottom mount, and get a new bolt for the top and new pin for the bottom
also, the $25 price tag isnt so good if new mounts will need to be welded on to acheive the correct ride height
there is no other shock out there that is an exact bolt on, except aftermarkets for much more money

Like the height wise, i like that it would raise it up more. I know that another shock for any other quad woulnt just bolt on. But when i looked on the cheap shocks thread it said that a few minor things would need to be done to make an, atc and a trx shock fit.
