Can you use any year banshee front hubs and rotors for the front hydraulic brake system or does it have to be a specific year?

any year will fit, but the pre 91 j-arm spindles have non recessed bolts for the disc, and they will hit the caliper after it's bolted on
91 and up a-arm shee's have recessed bolt heads that will work

now whats the best way to hook up the front brake system i have banshee hubs and rotors...is it better to use banshee spindles and modify them or buy the yamaha blaster disc brake hydro conversion spindles?

91 and up I believe.

but i apparently have 87 warrior front hubs/rotors and they fit on my norman spindles. so maybe the older shee ones will fit too

I don't know how yours works then, on my warrior I have 94 spindles and calipers and 87 hubs and the bolts that hold the rotor on the hubs hit the brake caliper. I can't even bolt on the calipers. I bought some newer style (91 and newer) rotor bolts hoping those will solve this issue because I don't want to buy new hubs. Can you get some pics of the back side of your hubs??? Or how its bolted up? Just want to make sure That If I can use the 87 hubs on the norman spindles and not have them hit the bolts.

well, seeing as how i just removed my discs from the hubs to paint, i don't think different screws are gonna work, the disc itself has recessed holes for the screws to sit down in, assuming that the pre 91, old style non recessed screw discs would have no reason for recessed holes in the disc

what is the difference between the blaster hydro conversion spindles and the lt250r spindles?

I am not sure on lt250 spindles. But the difference on converted blaster spindles to 03-06 blaster spindles is that the conversion spindles are modded by a machinist to make them operate the same as 03-06 spindles. The difference between blaster and banshee spindles is the top a-arm ball joint mount. The banshee uses a tapered style where as the blaster uses a straight pinch bolt style ball joint.I have modded the shee spindles and ran them and they were fine. Most will say they suck but they have never tried. They do suck if you think you are going to race mx and do large jumps with them but for the occasional easy riding trail rider they will be fine till you get funds. The norman420 conversion spindles are the way to go if you can afford them.He does great work and we should be supporting him cause he is the only one making them for the blaster.

Shiiitttttt. I'll wait to see if they will work on the norman spindles if not I will be selling those and getting new ones. Ughhhhhhh

I recently did the banshee front hydro conversion on my blaster. I got banshee hubs, disks, and calipers. With norman's spindles I was done installing in 1 hour. They looked very well made... I feel much safer with them...

Not a huge deal you need (8) of item 2 on this page

World of Powersports' 1998Yamaha ATV BANSHEE YFZ350K (3GGW) Parts Image

A drill press, and a 10mm or an (X) drill bit.

Drill through the rotors and c'bore the hubs slightly (1/16" deep or so) with the same bit. You may have to grind a little off the ends off the stainless hex head cap screws I send you. You can do them one at a time with the rotor left on, or remove the rotor and do them seperately. I've done it to a bunch. Often the parts I buy off of Ebay are not what people think they are.

They are 3 bucks a piece if you buy them new or use Yamaha rotor bolts as a search on Ebay.
