It doesn't matter what the carry laws are in any state, if you don't have proof the guy traded you for it and it's used in a robbery or murder and the cops get the serial numbers off of it, they're coming knocking on your door... and your reply is going to be? "uhhhh, I traded that a while back to a guy for a 4 wheeler".
