is there a way to put a banshee axle on a blaster? if so, how hard would it be?
would you just have to bolt it on or what?

mine is a 1995 so i need the brake disk then? so, the banshee axle will fit my swingarm and everything ? cause i might buy one on ebay

i bought the carrier off an 04 an got the hydro brakes off a banshee so im not 100% on how well it works with the older carrier theres a few guys on here that used the older carrier just fine as far as the wheel hubs and sprocket that will all fit and the disk off the blaster will work you need the hub it goes onto

you need the axle and the hub the disk goes on an it will all fit together now getting the brakes to work might be tricky your brake hub you have stock floats side to side an the banshee hub dosent so youll have to line up the calliper

The shee axle will go right into the blaster carrier with no problems. If your blaster is an 88-02 then you need the shee axle and a shee brake hub.If your blaster is an 03-06 then the axle is a direct swap. All other parts from the blaster will fit.The sprocket hub and sprocket, axle nuts, brake rotor, etc. will all swap over.

is the shee axle any different in strength or length? what would the purpose be to swap to a shee axle?

It's 1 3/4 inches longer per side.So 3 1/2 inches longer than stock.Same stock yamaha strength I would guess.Cheaper than any plus axle on the market and best cheaper ugrade for the blaster.IMO

+1 on the Banshee axle. i just did this also, got the axle, hubs and the rear disc for $25 and came off of an 06 banshee... Just unbolt it, clean it, grease it and bolt the new one in!!!!

Yep, I just put mine in too. $40 shipped off Ebay. Mines an '06, so everything was a perfect bolt on. It was just like putting in another stock axle. Great bang for the buck!
