new castle pa
my blaster blew up today after two days of me just getting to ride it. the connecting rod has way to much free play and a crack on the top the piston rings are shot there is a deep score in the piston and the pots are kinda messed up because the rings caught. called ken o 'conner and about 450-500$ to get it all fixed with the aggressive trail port and redesigned head also 125$ for a 30mm carb i would need. PLUS money for the shipping and insurance and have the crank assembled....... FML.......or put in a 01' yz 250 motor that needs a sleeve and bore for 500$

Well your day really........blows. Hahaha no pun intended. It sucks when you cant get a solid week of riding in before something goes or breaks.

yea thats what pissed me off the most..... i did not have breaks and they come it tomorrow
and i cant use them

Thats what always pisses you off the most is when you are getting something in and than your quad breaks down. Trust me its happended to me before. I ordered new tires for my quad and 2 days before they came in chain broke.

That sucks man... well while the engine is getting finished, we can get that thing looking great...

buy the tools for working on the bottom end. it will cost about the same to buy the tools as it does to have someone do the work. buy a new crank and ship it to ken to have him make sure it is true. also get a manual. then have ken do all the porting and bore work and the head redesign. this way you learn how to work on your blaster and it gets fixed at the same time. sh*t your in pa dude there are so many blaster dudes up there to help you out you should be set. call slick again he won't be doin anything for a while.

black and blue color while the motor is out and i almost bought a toomey for it. it would had of been comming in around this week if i ordered it lol
