bad clutch???

This past weekend in between rides my blaster sounded like the clutch was grinding and every time I put it in gear to ride it hopped and grinded thus is the first time this has happened to me and I would appreciate any tips. Thanks

Seems lily your clutch plates are sticking. What transmission oil are you using? and does it look black and muddy when you drain it?

Was using Honda HP oil when It first started hopping then I put Lucas and it was still grinding

And it was like a gray muddy color. And I was using Honda HP when it started grinding.

That muddy color is your clutch. When the fibres wear down, it dies that to the oil. It should be changed regularly. The only way to be sure of clutch damage is to take the side cover off and inspect the clutch plates. Just make sure you use a JIT screwdriver to open those screw's. They are not Phillips head screw's and if you use a Phillips screwdriver on them, they will strip, I learned the hard way. Hope this helps and good luck.
