So when ever I start my blaster up, like the very first start of a new day, I'll get on on start going down the road and once I get to about 3rd or 4th it starts backfiring and feels like it has no power and jumps eratically. After about like 5 or 10 minutes it goes away (once its warmed up Im assuming). What could be causing this?

are you letting it warm up completely before riding???, < ya gotta do that, everytime!!!
are you letting it warm up too long with the choke on, allowing an excess of fuel/oil to build up in the crankcase???

^^That will do it^^ Also, when was the last time you serviced your carburetor? The float could be sticking or needle valve not sealing intermittently, causing excess fuel to flow into the engine, where it collects during the first few minutes of riding. After that short time is up, the fuel gets burned, the engine experiences a short period of excessively-rich running, and a backfire occurs as a result.

As yb mentioned, check your ignition rotor (flywheel) key. It may be sheared, causing the engine to run out-of-time.

Yeah I actually just bought the quad and just finished rebuilding the bottom end, not really sure about the jetting and the only mod it has is a FMF powercore 2 pipe and you should change the jetting with a new exhaust right? But yeah I think it might be possible Im not letting it warm up long enough but its deffiantly not anything thing with the choke, Ill try letting it warm up a little longer tommorrow and Ill get back to you. Thanks

Mine will sort of back fire if it's been sitting COLD for a while... but after like 3 minutes of it warming up it runs perfectly fine.
