Im in the process of totally redoing the suspension of my Blaster and was wondering if i need to go all out with a durablue axle, or if anybody has a banshee axle that does some woods/moto cross racing, is that a good axle that holds up well on pretty big jumps and trails on the Blaster?

the banshee axle will hold up fine but a durablue is wider and you have a little bit of adjustment with the width of a durablue. it also has a lifetime waranty.

yes the banshee axle is the cheapest way but if you are a seiros racer and want the bling on your blasty then go with dura blue but if your just looking to widen it, then the banshee axle will do the trick

Ok thanks for the fast reply. I like the fact of the lifetime warranty and i have seen the either +2 or +4. I think ill save up some more money and get the durablue. Which model would be the best for the buck and durability?

what year is your blaster?

if you have the older model (before '03), putting a banshee axle will require a new brake hub, and new rear brakes !,

if its newer '03 and up ..., i think you can save and use stock brake setup (someone can chime in here , i dont have a new one)

soooo, thats my 2 cents on that banshee axle, for older model blasters ....not all that cheap for me when its all said and done

I just purchased a tusk or g-force adjustible up to plus 6 for about 180.Its a nice axle and also life time warranty.

I'm waiting on that same axle. I bought it from rocky mountain. It was 199 there and I have to wait for back order. According to the chart I found it's not that strong of an axle but if you are like me, I ride the dunes and trails, and don't MX, then that should be a great axle.

Heres a link to the chart: http://www.blasterforum.com/suspension-14/axle-strength-chart-2187/

if you get a banshee carrier, or a 03 and up carrier for the older model blaster you can run the banshee axle, plus if you are still rocking the old cable brake setup you can look into a banshee rear brake to uprgade. makes the rear end wider and stop better.
