Axle Fitment

Is there a difference between the 88-02 axle and the 03-06 axle? All the axle companies sell the their axles for the 2 different styles, but I don't think they could be that different. I need to know because my buddy has an 03-06 lonestar axle, brand new, that he'll give me for 100 bucks. I have an 02 blaster. WILL IT FIT?

you will need a 03+ blaster brake hub or any year banshee brake hub

banshee brake hubs are cheap on ebay

Everything else will work with the stuff there now though if I just get the brake hub?

yes. i got a banshee hub for 15 shipped on ebay. so i wouldn't give up yet

the brake might need a little mod if it even works

oh my brake definitely works, i actually just tore it apart and fixed it.

a emeber on here a while back did it.. longer bolts and nuts so the caliper moves back and forth.. the stock 88-02 blaster brake hub floats... one pad pushes out and pushes the rotor against the othe rpad, where a banshee is fix so both pads come out to make contact.... so by makein it so the caliper floats it stil lworks properly....
