So some of you know that i got a blaster recently that had been sitting for ahwile. It has quite a few things done to it: 240 kit, v-force reeds , 34mm carb and a fmf fatty system. I got it running shortly after i got it. I felt like it had good power . The quad needs some work :brakes , handlebars, shocks, etc etc... Anyway I was in the garage today checking some things over and noticed alot of play in the throttle lever. I took the throttle cover off and ya tons of slop in the cable. Next i held the throttle wide open and pulled on the cable and found another quarter inch of throttle ( it was hitting the housing because the cable was so loose!!!) I adjusted the cable and then took her for a test drive. And OMFG The power was unreal. Talk about wheelies!!! Id say this thing is comparable to my trx250r now. So a free little horespower trick is to check those throttle cables and housings . So everyone get out in the shop and check your cables!!!!!!

adjusting all stretched cables and lubing them, should be regular maintenece
but good to remind everyone

lol. i did that a week or so after i bought mine had a lil play and i could feel it.

What does everyone lube there chain with? i just use a lil wd40 works good for me.
