Anyone ever rebuild their rear hydro caliper?

With the help from AWK I have all the parts to make a rear stock caliper, However the seals in all three I have are crap. so i thought If i can rebuild a car caliper this should be a breeze!

Only issue I have is all the seal kits do not come with the small rear o-ring that seals the stem on the piston. Hell the parts diagram doesn't even have it listed so i assume that it's not available? Anybody replace that small o-ring?

take the stem to the local ace hardware, they have drawers full of o-rings

Is there suppose to be a plate or something over the end of the piston that touches the pad?

I think there is so i cut one out of some aluminum I had-

now one rebuild kit and I'll be set!
